Anyone want to do F@H under my name? =P

As per title, anyone want to do Folding@Home under my name?

Would be particularly wonderful if you had a GFX card that was a 8600GT or better (preferably something like a 8800GS/9600GSO and up), as they are atleast 4-5x faster than a high end DC CPU

What exactly do you mean what's legitimate and safe? This is all run by Stanford Uni in the US, it's been around for years (F@H as far as I know has been around since 2001. It only downloads a small amount of data, then you leave it to analyse and process the data (CPU projects take around 20-24 hours on a high end PC... 2hr's on a high end video card) and then it uploads the data (roughtly 10mb for the CPU ones, about 1-2mb for GPU)

Yeah, same concept as SETI. There are a lot of other distributed computing projects, such as Climate Prediction etc... (Google BOINC), this one is the most popular though and probably for the best cause
